So after hitting stage 3+ I'm expecting some big #s.........I rush down to the closest dyno place. Before my Z gets loaded up he warns me that this "mustang" dyno reads low. Its real road conditions, up a hill, wind resistance etc. I have no idea about dynos so I'm like yeh....Never heard my Z so loud before, sounded like I had BOVs.....He did the run in 3rd gear. Wouldn't do it in 4th because he said his mustang dyno is safety rated at 140mph. Well my #s were about 311 HP and 311 TQ. I was hoping for at least 340.......He told me that dynojets? give out higher #s and most people use them. For a dyno jet # I should add 10-15%....If I do this add the 10% then my HP and Torque would be at 340-350ish.
Is this true? Or is my Z sick? It pulls so damn hard at any gear. I also still have high compression #s form september. Anybody elese dyno with a mustang and get low #s? I'm at least 15-20 off I think.
